JANE TEIXEIRA

The Pacific West Conference
 
Jane Teixeira was promoted to Associate Commissioner on July 1, 2014. 
 
Teixeira joined the Pacific West Conference in the summer of 2011 as the first assistant commissioner for compliance after serving as the director of NCAA Compliance at the University of Southern California since January of 2009.
 
While at USC, Teixeira managed and supervised all compliance operations and administrative functions, including planning, program evaluation, policy implementation, interpretation, education and external representation.
 
Prior to working at USC, Teixeira she served as the assistant director for Membership Services/Student-Athlete Reinstatement at the NCAA from July of 2007 to January of 2009.
 
She served as the senior associate athletic director at Texas A&M international University from March of 2006 to July of 2007, directing the NCAA Athletic Compliance Department. She also served as the head softball coach at the institution.
 
Teixeira experience also consists of serving as a compliance intern at the University of Oklahoma; as a consultant with the University of Central Oklahoma; and as an assistant to the athletic director at the University Interscholastic League in Austin, Texas.
 
A graduate of the University of Texas-Austin in May of 1999 with a degree in applied learning/sport management, Teixeira was an outstanding student-athlete who competed for the Longhorns’ softball team while an undergarduate.
 
She earned her master’s of education in August of 2003 from Southwest Texas State (now Texas State University) and her juris doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2005. She is a member of the Arizona Bar Association.
 
Teixeira oversees conference compliance, SAAC, the conference grants process, women's volleyball, and men's and women's golf, as well as other key leadership and administrative roles.
